Rohit Shetty’s cop universe film ‘Sooryavanshi’ has grasped the superhit title by entering the 100 cr collections. After having a great collection over the weekend, the film had a massive Monday by collecting 14.51 cr. Well, not just this, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ holds a superb collection even on at the International Box Office. The film made a total collection of 31.39 cr in five days overseas.

Day 1: $ 1.08 mn
Day 2: $ 1.15 mn
Day 3: $ 1.06 mn
Day 4: $ 480k
Day 5: $ 440k
Total: $ 4.22 million [₹ 31.39 cr]

However, domestically the Rohit Shetty-directed film will soon join the Rs 150 crore club around the world. Sooryavanshi’s total earnings after Day 4 Tuesday becomes Rs 138.57 crore.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, it is the first major commercial film to be released following the reopening of movie theatres during the second wave of the pandemic. The box office success of Sooryavanshi indicates that moviegoers are returning to the theatres.
