Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh starrer Bunty Aur Babli 2 has just been released this Friday. The film was predicted to start on a good note, with collections in the Rs. 4-5 crore range, considering it was a sequel to the prior release in 2005. However, unfortunately, the film has made less than Rs. 3 crore on Day 1 of its release.

YRF’s most awaited film collected 2.60 cr nett on its first day and 2.75 cr nett on the second day at the box office. Not only a low score at the box office, but the film also received a lot of not so good reviews.

Indeed, the Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi, which is on its third weekend, is projected to do better than the new movie. According to trade projections, Sooryavanshi will not only outperform Bunty Aur Babli 2 during the weekend but will also outperform the new release during the week.
