Ranveer Singh Starrer much awaited 83 Film released on Christmas. Film opened to glowing reviews and craze was unprecedented considering the subject of the film.
But film turned out to be massive disappointment because except urban pockets, film failed to excite smaller centres. Film collected only 72 cr nett in 1st week which should had been its weekend business in an ideal case.
But due to new Covid restrictions Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey postponed and that has given open week to 83 with added advantage of New year holiday.
Film collected 4.36 cr nett on 2nd Friday and has a total of 76.23 cr nett. Now film is almost certain to cross 100 cr nett by end of its run but still it will be below par performance.
