The Marvel Superhero film’s advance bookings began a month ago, and the promotion is ramping up as the release date approaches on May 6. With only ten days until the release of Doctor Strange, the film has already amassed a staggering advance of Rs 3.60 crore nett in national theatres alone.
The last superhero film Spider-Man did huge business in India and crossed all expectations. Doctor Strange is set for big release and started advance bookings a month before. The film has already sold tickets worth 4 cr nett almost which is a big tick from audience.
Hollywood films generally incite response close to release so this advance is a big sign.
The three generations of Spiderman were brought together on screen for the first time in Tom Holland’s movie, whereas the buzz surrounding Doctor Strange stems from a variety of elements ranging from the possibility of various celebrity cameos to the continuity from Spiderman: No Way Home.
