EXCLUSIVE Box Office Report: Eternals scores at Indian Box Office despite formidable competition

The film maintains its grip at the box office on Saturday and Sunday by collecting 5.75 cr & 6.05 cr at the box office.

On November 5, Eternals was released to mixed reviews. However, it has drawn a sizable crowd to theatres. On Day 1, the film grossed Rs 7.35 crore in India. While critics have given the film mixed reviews, it appears that the crowd enjoys it. The film maintains its grip at the box office on Saturday and Sunday by collecting 5.75 cr & 6.05 cr at the box office. The total collection of the film now stands at 19.15 cr nett.

The film is facing tough competition at the box office with Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe. Both of these films are doing well at the box office too.

Day 1, Friday: 7. 35 cr nett
Day 2, Saturday: 5.75 cr nett
Day 3, Sunday: 6.05 cr nett

Total collection: 19.15 cr nett

Eternals is directed by Chloé Zhao about a group of heroes from beyond the stars who have been protecting the Earth since the dawn of time. When horrific creatures known as the Deviants inexplicably reappearance, the Eternals are forced to rejoin in order to once again defend humanity. The film will also address the million-dollar question of why the Eternals failed to defend the humans during Thanos’ battle. Kevin Feige and Nate Moore produced the film, which is directed by Chloé Zhao, who won the Academy Award for Best Director this year for Nomadland.
