Major, by Adivi Sesh, will be released on June 3rd. The film clashes with Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan, and Samrat Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar.
The film got decent to good reviews but numbers didn’t come through on Friday.
Major is very poor in Hindi market and managed pathetic 96 lacs nett on day one. The film needs big jumps over weekend for some sort of hope at box office. But from here even 10 cr nett will be an achievement.
Sashi Kiran Tikka directed Major, and Adivi Sesh wrote the screenplay. Sesh, Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murali Sharma play significant parts in the film. Sony Pictures International Productions, G Mahesh Babu Entertainment, and A+S Movies are collaborating on the project. Major was released in Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam.
