Samrat Prithviraj is a huge period drama starring Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillar, Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood and backed by YRF.
The film was released in more than 3700 screens in India and 1200 screens in overseas. Samrat Prithviraj collected strictly average 10.70 cr nett on day one as reviews were mixed and somehow film got perception of propaganda film due to too many screenings for politicians.
The film started day two also with sluggish speed and there is no big jump as of now and evening will be crucial as film needs big jumps over weekend
As of now this YRF’s film seem to heading for 12.50-13.25 cr nett today which means 24 cr nett in two days. The film will find it really tough on weekdays and now two consecutive Akshay Kumar Starrer struggled at box office.

Samrat Prithviraj, previously named Prithviraj, stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Manav Vij, and Sakshi Tanwar, and introduces ex-Miss World Manushi Chhillar. It is produced by Aditya Chopra of YRF. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on June 3rd.
