The collections of Spider-Man: No Way Home on Monday were down from the weekend’s totals. On Friday, the film made Rs 3 crore, Rs 5 crore on Saturday, and Rs 4.75 crore on Sunday. On Monday, the film impressed us again by collecting 1.40 cr at the box office. The film definately proved that be it South release, Bollywood release or the pandemic, it stayed strong at the box office.
‘No Way Home’ is expected to gross Rs 17.50 crore in its third week at the box office. Although low, the statistics are excellent given that the film is nearing the end of its theatrical run.
According to reports, the film will remain in theatres while they are still open. Due to the current state of uncertainty caused by the pandemic, several Bollywood and Hollywood films have decided to postpone their January releases.
‘No Way Home’ is estimated to gross between Rs 215-220 crore nett at the end of its run. This could fall short of the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ box office estimates of roughly Rs 227 crore nett.
