Spider-Man was released Friday in 3300 screens all over India and it was a Thursday release to beat huge competition from South film Pushpa. The film has recorded some terrific numbers and it is set to run for at least three weeks more despite heavy-duty Bollywood films lined up for release.
The film was outstanding in the south and almost at par with the Avengers Endgame on opening day. Film narrowed the gap with the higher ticket price and shows starting as early as 4 am.
The film collected 32.67 cr nett (41.50 cr gross) on day one which was huge considering post Covid period and highest collections post-pandemic, top 3 ever from Hollywood.
The film collected 22.50 cr nett on day two and the drop was normal considering a weekday release and competition from south release Pushpa.
The film has collected again a whooping amount 26.10 cr nett on 3rd day. Today on Sunday film again created havoc and collected 31.25 cr nett. The film has collected 110.39 cr nett over 4- day weekend and gross a total of 141 cr.
Now crucial Monday will set the trend for its lifetime business – whether it will end around 175 or 200 cr nett.
