Spider-Man was released Friday in 3300 screens all over India and it was a Thursday release in order to beat huge competition from South film Pushpa.
The film was outstanding in the south and almost at par with the Avengers Endgame on opening day. The Film narrowed the gap with the higher ticket price and shows starting as early as 4 am.
The film was superb all over India but north circuits were still below the maximum capacity which is a sign of concern. The film should have a fantastic 4- day weekend.
The film collected 32.67 cr nett (41.50 cr gross) on day one which was huge considering post Covid period and highest collections post-pandemic, top 3 ever from Hollywood.
The film has collected 32.67 cr nett which is 7 cr nett more on opening day than Sooryavanshi.
The film collected 22.50 cr nett on day two and drop was normal considering a weekday release and competition from south release Pushpa.
The film will face stiff competition from Pushpa in the south and thus it’s heading for 22.50 cr nett on day two. The film has collected again a whooping amount 26.10 cr nett on 3rd day. The film has collected 79.14 cr nett plus in three days and a gross total of 100.84 cr.
The film is on the way to cross 107-108 cr nett in 4- days weekend.
