While everyone waits to see how Hindi films fare after Sooryavanshi (5 November), Hollywood films are keeping audiences entertained. The most recent example is Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which has had the best opening weekend in India for a Hollywood film since the pandemic.
After the second lockdown, Venom – Let There Be Carnage had the best weekend in Hollywood, grossing 12.96 crore nett during the four-day extended weekend. The four-day collections are nearly identical to Bell Bottom’s, with the exception of Bell Bottom’s significant Sunday collections.
Shang Chi’s weekend gross was 10.25 crore nett, but the film grossed roughly 25 crore nett over three days, and Venom – Let There Be Carnage has a possibility to surpass that depending on Monday’s performance. It should really outperform because it will be released in Mumbai and Pune next week, increasing its box office collections.
Day 1, Thursday – 3.71 cr nett
Day 2, Friday – 3.25 cr nett
Day 3, Saturday – 3 cr nett
Day 4, Sunday – 3 cr nett
TOTAL – 12.96 cr nett
‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ releases in Maharshtra on October 22.
