After coronavirus pandemic followed by lockdown, many filmmakers turned to OTT platforms to release their films. Recently, Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani’s Laxmii also made its way to streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar.
Directed by Raghava Lawrence Laxmii is a Hindi remake of Tamil film Kanchana.
However, Akshay Kumar starrer released in theatres overseas [U.A.E, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji] with limited capacity. Since the theatres in India are out of work from March amid the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, Laxmii makers have also decided to release their film on the digital platform.

The box office collection of Australia is 1,908 USD [Rs. 1.41 lacs] from 22 screens. From New Zealand box office 3,739 USD [Rs. 2.77 lacs] from 19 screens.
