This week, Bollywood is preparing for two major releases. “RakshaBandhan” starring Akshay Kumar and “Laal Singh Chaddha” starring Aamir Khan. Both movies are marketed as having a big budget, and the stakes are high because they both star A-list celebrities who are able to draw large audiences to their movies. Although there is a lot of anticipation about both movies, there is a particular social media group that has trollingly called for a boycott of both movies.

Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan’s release is just a few days away, and boycott calls for the two films have only grown louder.

Let’s take a look at the screen counts, number of shows, opening day and much more details of both the films which shows that boycott gang loses it big time. Keep scrolling!

Both the films have decent hype and good reviews from early screenings. There seems to be zero or negligible effect on films from this nonsensical boycott gangs’ hue and cry.

Rakshabandhan also stars Bhumi Pednekar whereas LSC stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and ‘Raksha Bandhan’ will clash at the box office on August 11.
