On August 15, the movie Ek Tha Tiger, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, will mark ten years since its debut. The ISI agent Zoya Humaini and R&AW agent Avinash Singh Rathore, better known as Tiger, were introduced at the start of Kabir Khan’s action thriller.
Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel from 2017, was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, but Maneesh Sharma will continue the narrative in Tiger 3, which will be released on Eid 2023.
Earlier, there were reports that YRF Films, the company that produced the wildly successful franchise, is rumoured to be releasing a special one-minute film to commemorate the occasion and recall Tiger and Zoya’s journey. Sources also claimed that when Salman initially watched the video, he thought Emraan Hashmi, who allegedly plays an antagonist in the upcoming third instalment, should also be in it. For the special video, he reportedly worked with producer Aditya Chopra to include a brief appearance by the actor.
But now, as per sources close to the production house, no such video is shot or planned to release anytime soon that stars Salman Khan, Emraan Hashmi & Katrina Kaif for Tiger 3.
Tiger 3 is set to hit the big screens in April 2023.
