Exclusive: Part 1 – 83 vs Pushpa, which film will win the BO clash on Xmas 2021?

There's one big clash coming up in 2021 that has our full attention: Ranveer Singh's '83,' and Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa,' are all set for a massive box office face off this Christmas.

With the Maharashtra government announcing the reopening of cinemas, it’s been a weekend of good news for both cinema makers and actors. The majority of the films now have a new release date, and we can only hope that things stay the same, with Covid-19 not being a spoilsport once more.

While several big-budget films like Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sooryavanshi,’ John Abraham’s ‘Satyameva Jayate 2,’ Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey,’ and others have set their release dates, there’s one big clash coming up in 2021 that has our full attention: Ranveer Singh’s ’83,’ and Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa,’ are all set for a massive box office face off this Christmas.

Both ‘83′ and ‘Pushpa,’ which will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, have a lot going for them, including a high-profile cast and crew, stunning visuals, intriguing narratives, and, most crucially, tremendous fan expectation. Let’s see if one has the upper hand over the other!

Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Amrita Puri, Nishant Dahiya, and Sahil Khattar feature alongside Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev. Now it appears that a diverse bunch of great performers from many industries have come together to make this film a hit.

When it comes to bringing in star worth, though, ‘Pushpa’ is no less. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, and others star in the film, which has a lot of things to look forward to.

The regionality of each film’s primary actors is evident, but in an era where audiences have become more inclusive and receptive while simultaneously looking for outstanding content, this distinction should have little impact.

As a result, although both productions feature huge names and compelling narratives, 83 gets the upper hand over Pushpa because it is based on a historic event that has a special place in people’s hearts. The film’s premise appears to be a success in and of itself, given the popularity of cricket in the country, and it also provides a unique opportunity to see and learn about everything that went into the biggest sporting high of country bringing the first world cup home, something that was beyond the lifetime of many in this new generation of cricket fans.

Another important element is that the film will be released after the T 20 World Cup season, which will increase audience’s interest even more in this film as well as the fact that after giving hits like Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, and Ram Leela, magical pair of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will be seen on screen, and their chemistry is something we don’t want to miss.
