EXCLUSIVE: 2nd Day Box Office Collection Of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Drops By 15%!

Hollywood’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is the sequel to the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The movie is the first of two planned sequels, with the second one titled Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. The sequel was originally set for release on April 8, 2022, but was delayed to October 7, 2022, and then to June 2, 2023, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Film released in close to 1900-2000 screens in India and should do well at box office.

2nd Day Box Office Collection Of Spider Man

Film opened well and with very good reviews it got much needed push. Despite being an animation film, it registered good 4.20 cr nett at box office on day one all India. Film dropped on day two due to competition from new releases and Thursday release factor.

As per early trends, film should collect 3.65 cr nett on day two which is 20% drop from day one. Film has 2 – day total of 7.85 cr nett and it should cross 15 cr nett at best over the weekend.

Thursday: 4.20 cr

Friday: 3.65 cr

Total: 7.85 cr Nett

Plot And Voice Over Cast Of Spider Man Across The Spider Verse

The exact plot of the movie is still unknown, but it is expected to follow Miles Morales as he reunites with his friends Spider-Gwen and Peter B. Parker, and teams up with Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Punk, and the original Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew.

Shameik Moore will reprise his role as Miles Morales. Oscar Isaac will voice Spider-Man. Other cast members include Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, John Mulaney, and Issa Rae.

The first trailer for the movie was released on November 2021. The trailer picks up right where the last film left off, with Miles listening to the hit song from Into the Spider-Verse “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee. 

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, in their feature directorial debuts5. The movie is highly anticipated by fans of the first film, and it is expected to explore the idea of Spider-Man variants crossing paths.
