Hollywood’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is the sequel to the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The movie is the first of two planned sequels, with the second one titled Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. The sequel was originally set for release on April 8, 2022, but was delayed to October 7, 2022, and then to June 2, 2023, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Film released in close to 1900-2000 screens in India and should do well at box office.

Film opened well and with very good reviews it got much needed push. Despite being an animation film, it registered good 4.20 cr nett at box office on day one all India. Film dropped on day two due to competition from new releases and Thursday release factor. Film collect 3.34 cr nett on day two which is 20% drop from day one.
Film jumped by 55% on day three and collected big 5.19 cr nett. Film grew marginally by 17% on Sunday too with 6.11 cr nett number. Film has 4 – day total of 18.84 cr nett which is fantastic number. It can go on and cross 35 cr nett lifetime from here which is fab result.
Film has attracted families and kids in big numbers specially in post IPL scenario. Spider Man is massive brand in India and that is why despite being an animation film, film has done wonderful numbers.

Film had a 88.1M opening weekend over 44 markets (Into The Spider Verse’s 21M, The Rise Of Gru 87.2M). and in domestic market US collected 120.5M, with total 208.6M Global opening (Into The Spider Verse 56.4M, The Rise Of Gru 194.2 million USD).

Plot And Voice Over Cast Of Spider Man Across The Spider Verse
The exact plot of the movie is still unknown, but it is expected to follow Miles Morales as he reunites with his friends Spider-Gwen and Peter B. Parker, and teams up with Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Punk, and the original Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew.
Shameik Moore will reprise his role as Miles Morales. Oscar Isaac will voice Spider-Man. Other cast members include Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, John Mulaney, and Issa Rae.
The first trailer for the movie was released on November 2021. The trailer picks up right where the last film left off, with Miles listening to the hit song from Into the Spider-Verse “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee.
