Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was struggling with one average song after another followed by below par trailer. Though the film is one of the highly anticipated movies of 2024 in terms of budget and cast but scenario looked bleak and it met it’s fate at box office.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Heading For Poor 65 Crore Nett Lifetime
BMCM fell further in 3rd week as it collected poor under 4 crore nett. Film has crossed 62 crore nett India and now it’s heading for 65 crore nett lifetime! This is embarrassing number for such a massive film which was promoted as next big blockbuster.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Falls Further In 2nd Week
BMCM collected poor 1.30 crore nett on 2nd Friday, 1.70 crore nett on 2nd Saturday and 2.50 crore nett on 2nd Sunday. Film added 2.20 crore nett on weekdays. Film crossed 5.50 crore nett in 2nd weekend and it failed to cross 8 crore nett in 2nd week.
Film has total of 58.92 crore nett after 2nd week and it will fail to cross 65 – 70 crore nett lifetime. Film will not recover even lead actor’s fee!
Film has crossed 100 crore gross finally with 31 crore from overseas.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Falls Flat On Weekdays In 1st Week
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan collected 16.07 crore nett on day one at the Indian box office. Given that Eid is one of the biggest days for Bollywood films at the box office, the film should have grown by leaps and bounds. But that is far from the case! Makers releases official numbers of 36 crore worldwide gross on day one but didn’t provide break up of Indian box office numbers.
On day two, film dropped further by 55% plus and collected around 7.50 crore nett which is too low number. Film grew very marginally on day three with 8.75 crore nett and still remained lower than day one. Film collected 9.75 crore nett on day 4 with marginal growth on day 4 (that too there was ‘buy one ticket and get one ticket free’ offer on day 4).
Film met it’s fate on day 5 and collected 2.50 crore nett. Despite ‘buy one and get one ticket free offer’, film collected poor 2.40 crore nett on day 6, 2.50 crore nett on day 7 and 1.75 crore nett on day 8. Now writing is on the wall!
Film has total of 51.22 crore nett after 8 days and it failed to cross even one day business of blockbusters like Pathaan and Jawan. This ideally should had been two day business at least! This is massive disaster and probably biggest disaster of recent times!
