As reported by us Exclusively last evening, after dismal start during the day Rajkummar Rao – Sanya Malhotra starrer HIT made progress in the evening. The film was struggling to cross 1 cr nett going by the start but late night surge managed to take it to 1.15-1.20 cr nett on day one which was some sort of consolation.
Still the film is low and needs big jumps over the weekend in order to score some sort of respectable lifetime number.
On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu starrer Shabaash Mithu failed miserably and completely bombed at box office. The film failed to cross 50 lacs nett on day one and there is not much hope left from such low point. It has mixed reviews so even big jumps will be impossible.
Rajkummar Rao’s action thriller film “HIT: The First Case” has been released in cinemas, it is a Hindi remake of a south Indian film (Telugu) of the same name. Gulshan Kumar and T-Series present in association with Dil Raju Productions HIT: The First Case. Directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore. The film starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra hits the theatres on the 15th of July, 2022.
Whereas Taapsee Pannu’s Shabaash Mithu tells the story of the former Indian cricket team captain Mithali Raj who transforms the fortunes of women in the game of cricket. Mithali represented India for 2 decades, she captain the Indian team between 2004 and 2022.
