It’s been more than two weeks since SS Rajamouli’s latest magnum opus, ‘RRR,’ released in theatres, and it’s already been reported that the film is approaching Rs 1000 crores in box office receipts. The ‘RRR’ crew had previously had a couple of success parties.
Today is the film’s third weekend, and now is the time for it to earn a few more crores and reach its goal of Rs 1000 crores. Let’s take a look at how much the movie has made on its 15th day and 3rd Friday. The film starring Jr.NTR and Ram Charan, which had already surpassed the Rs 950 crore mark worldwide on the 17th day, has reportedly surpassed the Rs 970 crore mark. As a result, ‘RRR’ is only 30 crores away.
The film is inching closer to the 250 cr mark at the box office. After collecting 5 cr, 7.50 cr and 10.50 cr on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the film went on to collect 3.50 cr on its third Monday and 3 cr on third Tuesday. The total collection of the film now stands at 238.09 cr.
‘RRR’ is an epic action period drama written and directed by KV Vijayendra Prasad’s son, SS Rajamouli. The fictional account of two Indian Telugu revolutionaries Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem and their fight against British Raj. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Makarand Deshpande, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris, among others.
