On June 24, 2022, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Prajakta Koli, and Maniesh Paul’s JugJugg Jeeyo was released in theatres. The movie had a respectable day one start, and it did well over the weekend. The movie maintained its popularity during the weekdays and experienced a significant increase over the second weekend, showing that there has been interest in it. JugJugg Jeeyo collected fantastic numbers over weekend 1 but it was a solid trend on weekdays which gave the film the right impetus.
The film collected fab 53 cr nett plus in week one and then added another crucial 20 cr nett in 2nd week. JJJ had competitions throughout the run and in 3rd week despite Thor, it managed to jump on Saturday & Sunday with 4.75 cr nett weekend. Even on Monday and Tuesday, the film continued to hold well by collecting 70 lacs and 65 lacs respectively.
It is probably the best-trended film post-pandemic and the only urban film to manage respectable numbers at the box office.
