On June 24, 2022, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Prajakta Koli, and Maniesh Paul’s JugJugg Jeeyo was released in theatres.
Now, this Varun Dhawan – Kiara Advani starrer is out on the OTT platform too after its 4th week of the run. Also, there have been many new releases in the last few weeks but this film continues to add crucial numbers despite all obstacles.
The film crosses 84.09 cr nett at the end of 4 weeks and it appeared that it was the end of its run. But film collected 15 lacs on 5th Friday despite the mega release of YRF’s Shamshera. The film again jumped on the 5th Saturday and collected 25 lacs nett. JJJ again jumped on Sunday and get close to 27 lacs nett which means it collected 67 lacs nett over the weekend and close to 1 cr nett in the 5th week with a total of 84.75 cr and it will cross 85 cr nett lifetime.
Film’s trend has proved that it has found acceptance among audiences even if it’s niche. A moderate success at box office and a rare one to do that post pandemic.
