Today marks the third edition of National Cinema Day, with previous editions attracting over 6 million admissions. Films is available for ₹ 99.
This week sees release of variety of films, ranging from new releases like Yudhra, Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam. Long-standing hit Stree 2, which has been popular since its release on August 15, will also continue its glorious run.
Additionally, Tumbbad (2018) and Veer Zaara (2004) were re-released on September 13 and will also be available for audience.
Stree 2 Continues To Dominate, Tumbbad Solid, Yudhra Decent And Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam Poor
National cinema day attracted viewers in big numbers today. All time highest Hindi grosser Stree 2 continues to dominate big time on 6th Friday too as it is set to cross 3.50 crore net. Film has sold more than 3 lac tickets in national chains today.
On the other hand, new release Yudhra is set to cross around 4 – 4.25 crore net on day one which is decent but far from great.
Tumbbad is creating waves in re release and set to cross 2.80 – 3 crore net on 2nd Friday thus crossing 16.50 crore net in 8 days. It is set for 25 crore total in re release.
Other new release Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam is washout and might fail to cross 75 lac – 90 lac on day one despite offer.
