The day one collection (estimates) for Bell Bottom are in, and it’s a good start considering the fewer screens than the film could get if there wasn’t a pandemic. Many predicted that the film would gross well over 5 crores, however, this did not happen. Nonetheless, the film is off to a strong start, and from here on out, consistency will be key. Let’s see if it succeeds by looking at the day 2 advance booking report.
If we see citywise, Kolkata is rocking in terms of footfalls in the cinema halls. After a lackluster start, the city is gaining traction. In this category, 3D is doing better, with roughly 5% of shows filling quickly. Countless shows on 2D are on the point of becoming houseful.
Hyderabad remains completely blank, i.e. it is the same as it was on the first day. Ahmedabad, like Bengaluru, has picked up the pace. Around 5% of 2D shows are selling out quickly. 3D is completely devoid of selling tickets. Ahmedabad and Bengaluru are slightly better than Chandigarh. Around 10% of 2D shows are quickly selling out. 3D is along the same lines.
