EXCLUSIVE: Hollywood Biggie Fast X Is Heading For Weekend Of 60 Cr Nett In India

Fast X, the 10th installment in the Hollywood’s  Fast and Furious franchise, is revving up to lead global box office charts. The movie is projected to open to $60 million or more in North America and at least $220 million at the international box office. Box office predictions suggest that Fast X is set to achieve an opening return of approximately $235 million internationally across 81 markets and a further $60 million domestically. 

If the film lives up to these predictions, it would rank the third highest in global franchise openings, behind 2017’s The Fate of the Furious in second place with $1.2 billion. . With a total estimated gross of $295 million globally, Fast X will rank third in terms of the franchise’s biggest openings, behind Furious 7’s $397.7 million and The Fate of the Furious’ $541.9 million.

Fast X collected 12.50 cr nett on day one despite Thursday release. Film jumped on day two and collected 13.75 cr nett. Film again jumped on Saturday and collected 17 cr nett. Film has 3 – day total of 43.25 cr nett and will cross 58 -60 cr nett over 4- day weekend.

Global Opening Of Fast X 

Film grossed 35.1M on its 2nd day overseas including WED Previews, for a 68.7M 2-day intl. cumulative over 65 markets added 7.5M US previews, a 76.2M Global cumulative. 

The movie is projected to open to $67 million or more in North America and at least $320 million at the international box office.

Fast X‘s opening weekend projections are promising for Universal, given that the last entry into the franchise, 2021’s F9: The Fast Saga stalled at $719 million worldwide. Overall, Fast X is expected to perform well at the box office and could potentially become one of the highest-performing debuts for the franchise.
