Janhvi Kapoor starrer Good Luck Jerry released directly on OTT couple of months back and got decent appreciation. Now the cat is out of the bag as her next film Mili released in cinemas this weekend.
Film was released by Zee Studios and though it received decent reviews but still it tanked badly at box office on day one itself. Film had no pre release buzz and hit unit to work among so many new releases.

Total 26 lacs
Film collected all India 45-50 lacs nett at best and it means even a jump on Saturday will not help much unless it’s a drastic turnaround which is impossible in post covid times. Such films are suited for ott release only as there is no visual appeal or big songs. Though film was remake of acclaimed Malyalam film Helen but even tha film was not a massive theatrical hit.
