IIFA 2026: Dhurandhar and Aryan Khan’s The Bads of Bollywood shine big at the awards

The 2026 IIFA Awards belonged to Dhurandhar. Aditya Dhar’s film emerged as the biggest winner of the night, sweeping the top honours with Best Film, Best Director for Dhar and Best Actor for Ranveer Singh. The awards run did not stop there, with the film also racking up major wins in writing, music and technical categories.

Dhurandhar Sweeps The Top Film Honours

Dhurandhar led the winners’ tally with a commanding performance across the board. Alongside Best Film, Aditya Dhar also won for Best Story, Best Screenplay and Best Dialogues, underlining just how decisively the film dominated the ceremony. Ranveer Singh’s Best Actor win added one more high profile triumph, while Sanjay Dutt won in the supporting male category and Akshaye Khanna took home the award for Performance in a Negative Role.

The film’s technical strength was recognised too. It won Best Cinematography for Vikash Nowlakha, Best Editing for Shivkumar V.
