EXCLUSIVE: Mission Impossible 7 Jumps Collects Very Good 63 Cr Over 5 Day Weekend, 100 Cr Lifetime Is Certain

Originally titled Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, the film stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson and others in key roles. It is believed to be compensating the damage done by The Flash and Indiana Jones 5 during the ongoing Summer and below is how much it is expected to rake in during the opening weekend at the worldwide box office.

The seventh instalment of Mission: Impossible is said to be the most critically acclaimed part of the franchise, and Tom Cruise is described as a top-form man. This positivity is pushing the biggie in terms of advance booking. Apart from that, there’s goodwill of previous instalments. Even there’s momentum in favour due to Top Gun: Maverick’s blockbuster success.

Mission Impossible Set For Good 57 Cr Net Weekend 

Tom Cruise‘s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One released globally on 12 July Wednesday. Its advance booking also started on the same day as Oppenheimer‘s. It sold approximately 1,15,000 tickets in the national chains for opening day. The weekend sales stood at 2,25,000 on Tuesday night. With this advance booking, film was expected to open big and that’s what happened.

Inox: 1.63 cr

Total: 5.55 cr net (26% drop)

Day 3: 

PVR: 3.45 cr 

Inox: 1.75 cr 

Cinepolis: 1 cr

Total: 6.15 cr net (11% jump)

Day 4: 

PVR: 5.80 cr

Inox: 3.25 cr

Cinepolis: 2 cr

Total: 11.05 cr net (79% jump)

Day 5:

PVR: 6.15 cr

Inox: 3.60 cr

Cinepolis: 2.15 cr

Total: 12.10 cr net (10% jump)

Film collected 12 cr net on day one which was good number. It was 2nd best opening day for Hollywood film in 2023, only behind Fast X. Today film was expected to drop as it was working day midweek but drop was not drastic. Film dropped by 28% and collected 8.75 cr net.

Film grew marginally with 10% on day 3 Friday and collected 9.25 cr net. Film jumped big on Saturday by 80% and collected 16.50 cr net. Film managed to hold strong on Sunday and collected 17.25 cr net.

Friday: 9 cr

Saturday: 16.50 cr

Sunday: 17.25

Total: 63.25 cr Net

Film has 5 – day total of 63.25 cr net. It will cross 100 cr net lifetime minimum in India which is highest for franchise as previous one crossed 80 cr lifetime.
