Natural Star Nani starrer period revenge drama, ‘Dasara’ which created a huge buzz across India. Actor promoted the film all over Hindi markets.
Makers have done success party also yesterday on day one itself which speaks about practice in south. But to be honest, Nani Starrer ‘Dasara’ is massive disaster in Hindi. Film collected poor 35 lacs nett in Hindi and 50 lacs nett in north market in Tamil.
Film will fail to cross 3-4 cr nett lifetime in north market and that makes it another Panned film in north.
Produced by Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, the film has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, editing by Naveen Nooli and cinematography Sathyan Sooryan. Shot on a huge scale, the magnum opus is arriving in 5 Indian languages- Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The film is clashing with Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa at the box office but interestingly, both the biggies won’t affect each other as their main targeted markets lie in different regions of the country. Nani’s biggie will be dominating the southern regions, especially Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Nani Promoted Dasara All Over India
The success of Telugu films like RRR and Pushpa: The Rise has encouraged filmmakers to take their movie to different parts of India for better reach. Telugu star Nani also gearing for the release of his upcoming film Dasara on March 30 and has launched a country-wide campaign to spread the word about this film. Not just big markets like Mumbai and Delhi but Nani has promoted Dasara in cities like Jaipur, Nagpur and Lucknow.
Dasara is touted to be actor Nani’s biggest film to date, in terms of scale and nationwide release plans. Days before the film’s release, between multi-city promotional tours, the actor settles down for a conversation at his Hyderabad office and states that the film was inspired by incidents that took place in the vicinity of coal mines in Telangana. He adds that the film directed by first-timer Srikanth Odela has the potential to be a box office winner and win critical appreciation.
