Yami, who made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with the film Vicky Donor, has since appeared in several successful films, including Kaabil, Uri: The Surgical Strike, and Bala. She has also made her mark in the digital space with her web series, A Thursday. She was seen in Lost. Her recently released is “Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga”.
Actress Yami Gautam recently opened up about her Chandigarh connection and her newfound stardom in our exclusive interview. The 34-year-old actress, who was born in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, spent most of her childhood in Chandigarh before moving to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.
She recalled the fashion show where she worn a 135-kg cloth and was “dying inside it” as she said smiling. She agreed that one can’t take out Chandigarh from a person who resides even if you can take him or her out of the city. The actress gladly talked about the Chandigarh days.
