Adipurush, the highly anticipated Indian film directed by Om Raut and produced by Bhushan Kumar, is set to release on June 16, 2023, across 6500 plus screens in India. The film stars Prabhas as Raghava and Kriti Sanon as Janaki. With astounding collections in the overseas market through advance bookings and high demand amongst audiences in India, the team opened the doors for their audience to book tickets at box office from Sunday, June 11.
Advances started for the film last Sunday and it has sold crazy tickets across national chains as well as non national chains. PVR has sold more than 1,40,000 tickets followed by close to 90,000 tickets sold in Inox and 55,000 tickets sold in Cinepolis. As of now, the movie has sold more than 2.70 lacs tickets in national chains which is fantastic and should end around 2.85 lacs number by midnight.
Real target of the film was to cross all time record numbers of Baahubali 2 (6.50 lacs), Pathaan (5.56 lacs) and KGF 2 (5.05 lacs). But film will remain lower than 3.02 lacs of Brahmastra. Film will release in 4100 screens in Hindi and 2200 plus in other languages which mean total of 6500 screens.

Adipurush Crosses 10 Cr In National Chains by 12:15 PM
As expected from advance bookings, Adipurush has crossed massive 10 cr in national chains itself by 1 pm and that means film will cross 35 cr nett on day one in Hindi from here onwards as film is super strong outside national chains too.

Cinepolis 2.15 cr
Total 10.25 cr
Jump over weekend will be key for the film as reviews will come into play from evening onwards. Anything below 130 cr nett after such opening will be a disappointment.
