Even though the official numbers are awaited, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush seems to have collected approx. Rs 36-37 crore on day one in the Hindi version, and now it stands 3rd after Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and KGF 2. The total day one in all the languages is likely to be in the range of Rs 95 crore, which is huge.
Film has collected close to 38 cr in overseas which takes it day one total to 150 crore gross with 110 cr India gross.
Adipurush opened in cinemas on June 16 to mixed reviews. While giving his review to the press, a man was attacked by Prabhas’ fans for not liking the film and it was all pandemonium outside the cinema.
Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan is 38% ahead than Adipurush on day one which is massive and speaks about about SRK’s dominance. It seems that Hindi box office Collection record of 524 cr nett of Pathaan will be intact and even 47 million USD overseas record will be tough to beat.
