Adipurush opened in cinemas on June 16 to mixed reviews. While giving his review to the press, a man was attacked by Prabhas’ fans for not liking the film and it was all pandemonium outside the cinema.
Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush seems to have collected approx. Rs 37.25 crore nett on day one in the Hindi version, and now it stands 3rd after Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and KGF 2. The total day one in all the languages worldwide 140 crore gross with 38 cr overseas.
Film managed to stay afloat on day two despite negative reviews and grew by slim 5-10%. Film collected 38 cr nett on day two with almost no growth. Film remained flat on Sunday and collected 38 cr nett. Film collected 113.25 cr nett over weekend in Hindi.
Today on day 4 Monday, Adipurush met its fate and crashed massive 75% from day one. Film struggled to cross 8 cr nett on day four which means 4 day total of 121 cr nett. Film will keep dropping from here onwards and will struggle to cross 140 cr nett in week one and 160 cr nett lifetime which is a shame.
