Salman Khan starrer RADHE was touted as the first big litmus test for Hindi film box office pattern in post Covid world. The film saw a hybrid release with simultaneous premiere on OTT and theatrical release in overseas. But the film remained below par over weekend in overseas market due to bad reviews and poor content.

PR, Fans and makers are crying over weak numbers due to Covid situation, but they can check box office numbers of films like MASTER which released in Covid situation in middle east – RADHE Failed to break even that number by a large gap, despite having Eid advantage.

Film collected 1.87 million $ over 4-day weekend in overseas market and out of that 1 million $ came from middle east where film dropped on Saturday itself and Sunday was massive drop. Film remained weak in USA and Australia market too with poor numbers 200k $ & 350k$ respectively.

Thursday

$675,000

Friday

$600,000 (11% drop)

Saturday

$400,000 (33% drop)

Sunday

$200,000 (50% drop)

With such a poor trend over the weekend, it is heading for poor lifetime numbers. Film will start unveiling in UK market from today onwards but with such a weak content, it holds hardly a chance over there too.
