Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ released on Holi and opened to glowing reviews. Film opened well but mid week release didn’t help as film was up and down for two days. Film did grow big over weekend on Saturday and Sunday but massy circuits never came on board.
TJMM managed decent 70 cr nett 5 – day weekend but then massive hold was requested on Monday. Film failed on that ground and only collected 6.05 cr nett which was below par. Film had almost zilch chances to reach 150 cr nett lifetime from here though it has two open weeks until release of Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bholaa’.
To be fair, film held well on Tuesday. Film registered no drop and collected 6.02 cr nett. Film again held rock solid on Wednesday and collected 5.75 cr nett.
Film has 8 day total of 88 cr nett. Film should add 5 cr nett more tomorrow which will take it to 93 cr nett 9 days extended week one total. Film needs minimum 25 cr nett in week 2 for 125 cr nett lifetime which is now bare minimum target.

There is lot noise and nonsense around budget of the film and will present the exact numbers of same in couple of days. Film has performed below par at box office despite good reports and reviews which is point to ponder.
