Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer has not done massive business probably what many would had expected. But to be fair, ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ has done decent business at box office in first week extended 9 days followed by good jumps over 2nd weekend. Though 2nd Friday did drop and that did hurt.
TJMM managed decent 70 cr nett 5 – day weekend but then massive hold was required on Monday which didn’t happen. Film did hold on weekdays subsequently but on lower levels. Film collected 92.75 cr nett in week one.
Film did drop on 2nd Friday but then film jumped big on 2nd Saturday by close to 74%. After 3.51 cr nett on 2nd Friday, film collected 6.03 cr nett on Saturday. Film again jumped by 25% on 2nd Sunday and collected 7.16 cr nett.
Thus film collected 16.70 cr nett over 2nd weekend and crossed 109.14 cr nett in 12 days. Film needs to hold on 2nd Monday, as much close to 2nd Friday as possible. Film needs massive hold in 3rd week so that it can go pass 125 cr nett lifetime.
