Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer has not done massive business probably what many would had expected. But to be fair, ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ has done decent business at box office in first week extended 9 days.
TJMM managed decent 70 cr nett 5 – day weekend but then massive hold was required on Monday which didn’t happen. Film did hold on weekdays subsequently but on lower levels. Film collected 92.75 cr nett in week one.
Film did drop on 2nd Friday but then film jumped big today on 2nd Saturday by close to 60-65%. After 3.40 cr nett on 2nd Friday, film collected today 6.03 cr nett. Thus film crossed 102 cr nett in 11 days and again big Sunday tomorrow will take it close to 109-110 cr nett.
Film should be crossing 125 cr nett by end of 3rd week when next biggie ‘Bholaa’ arrives. This is strictly average result for the film as expectations were sky high especially after decent reviews but still it’s not bad either considering poor show post pandemic.
