Produced by Zee Studios and Salman Khan Films, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ released on 21st April on Eid. Film has Pooja Hegde opposite Salman Khanand south superstar Venkatesh in an important role. In addition this, bunch of newcomers will be making their big screen debut with this film including Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Sidharth Nigam. It marks comeback of superstar on silver screen post pandemic.
Salman Khan starrer opened to mixed reviews but still Salman Khan’s stardom has ensured some sort of opening. Film has opened to 10-15% opening because of dull Pre Eid period. Film didn’t grow much throughout the day one. Film managed to cross 15.81 cr nett on day one which is way lower than ‘Pathaan’, ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’.
Film crossed 68.17 cr nett over weekend which is just 23% more than day one business of Shah Rukh Khan’ ‘Pathaan’. Film has scored 5th biggest weekend in post pandemic times, behind ‘Pathaan’, ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Sooryavanshi’ and TJMM. This tells dominance of SRK film in post pandemic era.
Film crossed 91 cr nett after week one. Film has crossed lifetime of ‘Bholaa’ and ‘Vikram Vedha’ in week one itself. But still it’s below par considering expectations from the film and it’s budget.

Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Drops Big 83% Over 2nd Week:
Though there was no major new release last weekend still Salman Khan’s KKBKKJ failed to capitalise the open week. Fill dropped further from Thursday. On 2nd Friday, film collected 2.10 cr nett which was poor. Even with the jump, film collected 3.25 cr nett on 2nd Saturday. On 2nd Sunday film collected 4 cr nett and this film crossed 100 cr nett finally.
Film added 2.25 cr nett on 2nd Monday due to holiday but again film came down steeply today around 1 cr nett. Film is heading for 17 cr nett 2nd week which is almost 82-83% drop from 90 cr nett week one.
Now film is heading for 112-115 cr nett lifetime and that’s terrible. It will fail to cross lifetime of 129 cr nett of Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi which released post pandemic. It’s way behind other hits like Drishyam 2, Bhool Bhullaiya 2, Brahmastra and comparing with Pathaan will be an insult.
