Film has taken a very good start at box office on day one and Diwali festivities hit the film from 4-5 pm onwards. Also there was India’s World Cup match which affected the collections from evening onwards.

Film needs massive Monday and Tuesday to justify its stardom and franchise value. Following are the early numbers for the film.

PVR + Inox 8.75 cr / 11.60 cr / 13.85 cr
Cinepolis 2.10 cr / 3 cr / 3.50 cr
Total 10.85 cr / 14.60 cr / 17.35 cr

Monday Net @ 9 am
Pvrinox 6.40
Cinepolis 1.50
Total 7.90 cr

As of now it seems that film will cross 42-43 cr nett on day one which is a very good number considering release date. Now film should score big 55-60 cr day each in next two days going by the opening which will take it to 150 cr nett in 3 days.

Though this opening is far behind massive openings of SRK starrers Jawan (75 cr nett all India) and Pathaan (57 cr nett all India) earlier this year on working days. Film failed to break any single day record in India, overseas and worldwide which all belong to Jawan and Pathaan.

Whether Tiger 3 will beat any single day records of these big films is the big question.
