EXCLUSIVE: Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 Crosses 103 Cr Nett In Two Days In India With 40% Growth On Day Two, Still Remains Below YRF Spy Universe’s Pathaan And SRK’s Non Sequel Non Holiday Release Jawan

The much-awaited action thriller Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, released on Diwali festival, 12th November. The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma, is the third installment of the popular Tiger franchise, which revolves around the adventures of a spy couple played by Salman and Katrina. 

Tiger 3 is expected to be a big hit at the box office, as it promises to deliver high-octane action sequences, exotic locations, and a gripping plot. The film also features Emraan Hashmi as the main antagonist, who plays a ruthless terrorist leader.

Tiger 3 Scores Century In Two Days In India, Set For Huge Next Two Days

Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 released on Diwali and makers YRF is confident enough to pull of biggest hit. Film has taken a very good start at box office on day one though Diwali festivities did hit the film from 4-5 pm onwards. Also there was India’s World Cup match which affected the collections from evening onwards.

Still film surpassed almost all expectations and collected 44.50 cr nett (43 cr Hindi, 1.50 cr Dubbed). This was 3rd biggest opening for YRF’s Spy Universe behind Pathaan and War and highest ever opening day for Salman Khan. It’s also 3rd biggest opening of the year behind SRK’s Jawan and Pathaan.

Film needs massive Monday and Tuesday to justify its stardom and franchise value. As per early trends, film is heading for 60 cr nett day two and can go little higher. This is very good number but still behind record numbers of Pathaan and Jawan.

Film will score massive days tomorrow and day after due to big holidays and it should cross 145 cr nett in three days and 185 – 190 cr nett by end of day 4. But real test starts when holidays get over as word of mouth and reviews will come in play.

Film needed to eclipse 70.50 cr nett on day two to emerge highest grosser for day 2 ever but it failed to do so like yesterday. Film has follwing targets to beat ‘single day’ record for Hindi films:

Day 1: Jawan: 75 cr / Tiger 3: 44.50 cr

Day 2: Pathaan: 70.50 cr / Tiger 3: 60.50 cr

Day 3: Jawan: 77.83 cr 

Day 4: Jawan 80.10 cr 

Day 5: Pathaan: 60.75 cr
