After the blockbuster success of Jawan, director Atlee is all set to make another big-budget film with two superstars – Shah Rukh Khan and Thalapathy Vijay. The filmmaker confirmed the news in a recent interview with Gopinath, a popular Tamil TV presenter and YouTuber.
Atlee reveals both superstars, SRK and Vijay are ready for his dual hero film
Atlee revealed that he had invited Vijay to his birthday party during the Chennai schedule of Jawan, where he also shot the Zinda Banda song with Shah Rukh Khan. The trio posed for a viral picture that sparked rumours of a possible collaboration. Atlee said that Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay had a discussion and then approached him with an offer. “Shah Rukh sir told me if I ever have plans of directing a dual hero film, they both are ready for it. Vijay Anna also said, ‘Ama pa’. So, I am working on it. It could be my next film,” Atlee said.

Atlee added that he is working very hard to come up with a script that will do justice to both the stars. “I am working very hard to come up with a script for it. Let’s see,” he said. Atlee is known for his distinctive storytelling style, blending commercial elements with socially relevant themes. His films often feature strong emotional arcs, compelling characters, and impactful dialogues. He has worked with Vijay in three films – Theri, Mersal, and Bigil – all of which were huge hits. His Bollywood debut, Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has crossed Rs 1100 crore at the global box office.
The prospect of seeing Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay together on the screen has created a lot of excitement among the fans and the industry. Both the actors have a massive fan following and are known for their charisma and versatility. Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy with Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, co-starring Taapsee Pannu. Vijay was recently seen in, Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
