There was no excitement for the upcoming biographical Rajkummar Rao starrer Srikanth – Aa Raha Hai Sabki Aankhein Kholne despite glowing reviews. Film was seen by almost every critic in town and creatives with glowing reviews were spattered all over the media. But still film failed to register even decent opening.
Srikanth Jumps Big On Day Two
Srikanth failed to cross even 2.50 crore nett on day one as film collected poor 1.85 crore gross (1.50 crore nett) in national chains despite no competition and glowing reviews.
But today on day two, film jumped big on expected lines. Film has crossed 96 lacs in national chains at 11:30 am which is more than what film collected on day 1 at 3:30 pm. This indicates that film will jump by 50% plus and should cross 5 crore nett.
With usual jumps on day three, film will cross 14-15 crore nett over weekend.
Following are the collections in national chains for day 1 & day 2:
Day 2:
PVR + Inox: 74 lacs
Cinepolis: 22 lacs
Total: 96 lacs gross
Day 1:
PVR + Inox: 1.47 crore
Cinepolis: 35 lacs
Total: 1.82 crore gross
If film can hold on Monday, it has open run for few weeks and it can score a good lifetime number.
