On 23rd February two Bollywood movies clashed at the box office. Yami Gautam starrer Article 370 and Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Rampal starrer Crakk locked horns at the box office. Both films were of different genres yet Article 370 has come out as clear winner against big budget action film.
Article 370 Crosses 8.15 Crore Nett In 3rd Week Despite New Releases
Film collected 1.90 crore nett on 3rd Friday and then jumped on 3rd Saturday with 2.93 crore nett. Film again grew on 3rd Sunday and collected 3.32 crore nett. Film has crossed 8.15 crore nett over 3rd weekend and will cross 12 crore nett in 3rd week which is fair result considering new release Shaitaan is doing solid business.
Article 370 Collected Solid 22 Crore In 2nd Week
Article 370 followed good week one with solid 2nd Friday as expected. Film collected 3.12 crore nett on 2nd Friday and as expected jumped big by 80% on 2nd Saturday with 5.25 crore nett. Film again grew by 35% on 2nd Sunday and collected 7.25 crore nett. Film crossed 15.50 crore nett over 2nd weekend. Film held solid on 2nd Monday and collected 1.70 crore nett. Film added 1.95 crore nett on Tuesday, 1.92 crore nett on Wednesday and 1.90 crore nett on Thursday.
Film crossed 23.09 crore nett in 2nd week which is fantastic trending. Film has total of 61.91 crore nett and it will cross 68 crore nett India and 85 crore worldwide gross by end of run. Today release of Shaitaan has curtailed its run. But film has done the job and emerged as big hit.
Article 370 Scored Big Week One
Film took a solid start on day one due to ₹ 99 pricing on Cinema Lovers Day. Film collected 6.12 crore nett on day one which is fantastic start. Reports are on positive sides and that is why despite normal pricing on day two, film managed to grow by 30% and collected 9.08 crore nett. Film grew by 15% further on day 3 and collected 10.25 crore nett.
Film had 3 day total of 25.45 crore nett which was fantastic. Film dropped on Monday and collected 3.60 crore nett. Film held strongly on Tuesday and collected 3.55 crore nett. Film added 3.15 crore nett on Wednesday and 3.07 crore nett on Thursday.
Film has 1st week total of 38.82 crore nett. Film also crossed 53 crore worldwide gross in 1st week. It should jump over 2nd weekend as there is not much competition. This is superb number for the film of this size and it’s already a bonafide hit.

Film has open run for couple of weeks and it can eye really big lifetime total in vicinity of 60 crore nett. First super hit on the cards in 2024!
