Kartik Aryan is probably second most rising actor after Ayushmann Khurrana in younger lot who is doing well at box office.
His film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ released which is remake of a B R Chopra film if same name. Film got wide release and with hit music it was destined to open well. Despite competition from a huge canvas film, it won the battle on day one.
Film had 1st weekend total of 35.94 cr nett. Film had good trend over weekend but growth was not phenomenal. After this film passed litmus test on Monday with only 40% drop as it collected 5.70 cr nett. Film remained solid on Tuesday and collected 5.35 cr nett. Film added 4.62 cr nett on Wednesday which is first distinct drop. Film gathered 4.36 cr nett on Thursday.
Film has 1st week total of 55.97 cr nett. 2nd Friday was crucial for the film and it has come out with flying colours. Film collected 3.05 cr nett on 2nd Friday despite so much competition from new releases. Film grew on Saturday and collected 4.88 cr nett. Film grew on Sunday and collected 5.52 cr nett. It crossed 13.75 cr nett over 2nd Weekend. Film added 1.91 cr nett on Monday which was a good hold. Film was solid on Tuesday and collected 1.88 cr nett. Film added 1.52 cr nett on Wednesday and fab 1.87 cr nett on Thursday. Film collected 20.63 cr nett in 2nd week despite competition which is superb. Film added 70 lacs nett, 1.20 cr nett and 1.50 cr nett over 3rd Weekend. It will cross 5.25-5.50 cr nett in 3rd week.
Film has total after 3rd Weekend of 80 cr nett. Now it should cross 82 cr nett lifetime for sure though this week release of ‘Dabangg 3’ will curtail its business. Still a hit film!
