Megastar Chiranjeevi’s latest outing—Godfather was released in theatres on October 5, 2022. The film earned mixed reviews from several quarters. Though Mega fans can’t stop gushing about the film. Chiranjeevi’s Godfather is a flop in the Dussera race as film failed in Hindi as well as local market, total failure in box office collection worldwide.
Godfather is the official remake of Malayalam’s blockbuster hit, Lucifier. Director Mohan Raja made some changes in Godfather to suit the sensibilities of the Telugu audience. But it failed miserably.
Talking about box office collections, Godfather has managed to earn just little more than Chiranjeevi’a previous flop Acharya at telugu box office. Film collected 59 cr only terms of Tollywood box office collection. Presence of Super star Salman Khan failed to entice audience in north with lifetime collection less than 5 cr nett.
