A key factor behind the jump appears to be positive audience sentiment around the film’s music recall and its intense romantic action narrative. The scale of the production has also been a talking point, helping the film play strongly during peak hours, particularly in urban centres and high footfall weekend slots.
The weekend surge suggested that O’Romeo is benefiting from improving word of mouth as more viewers catch it in theatres. Increased footfalls in evening and late night shows have further supported the film’s trajectory, which is often crucial for weekend multiplication. Big cricket match affected box office number on Sunday but still came out with flying colours. Weekday hold have verdict that film has been accepted by the audience.
Sajid Nadiadwala And Vishal Bhardwaj’s Film Eyes A Stronger Hold In 2nd Week
Backed by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, O’Romeo now heads into the rest of the weekend with a healthy base. With the first three days indicating solid momentum, the film’s hold over the next set of shows will be closely watched, especially as it attempts to sustain its run beyond the Valentine’s weekend surge.
As the early response continues to highlight performances, music, and the film’s ambitious cinematic vision, the coming days will determine how far this growth can translate into a longer, stable box office run.
