Peddi Hindi Box Office: Ram Charan Starrer Collects Rs 5.25 Crore In 2 Days Amid New-Release Heat

Ram Charan’s Peddi has opened to solid traction in its home market, but the Hindi belt is proving to be a tougher battlefield. The sports action drama, which arrived in cinemas on June 4, 2026, has had to fight not just for audience attention but also for screen space, with fresh Hindi releases cutting into its second-day momentum.

The Hindi dubbed version had a slower start after advances opened late, and that delay hurt its early North India push. After collecting Rs 3 crore nett on day 1, Peddi added Rs 2.25 crore nett on Friday, taking its two-day Hindi total to Rs 5.25 crore nett.

Peddi Faces Hindi Box Office Pressure On Day 2

The key development is the drop in the Hindi version’s show count on day 2. Peddi faced competition from Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Bandar, both of which affected its available showcasing in the North market. That pressure reflected in Friday’s numbers, with the film earning less than its opening-day Hindi figure.

For a pan-India release led by a star of Ram Charan’s scale, the weekend now becomes crucial. A strong Saturday and Sunday jump would help Peddi stabilise in Hindi, especially if word of mouth travels beyond the core fan base. However, the weekday hold will decide its long-term prospects in North India.

At the same time, the film’s Telugu-state performance remains the brighter side of the picture. The Ram Charan factor, combined with the film’s mass sports-drama packaging, has helped it draw strong attention in its primary market. The contrast between Telugu and Hindi performance now places the spotlight firmly on how far Peddi stretches outside its strongest territory.

Ram Charan’S Rural Sports Drama Raises The Stakes

Peddi is a sports action drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who returned to direction after Uppena. The film stars Ram Charan in the titular role, with Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. The ensemble also includes Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu and Boman Irani in important roles.

The film has been produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings presenting the project. Jio Studios handled the film’s North India distribution in Telugu and Hindi. Set against a rural sporting backdrop, Peddi follows a determined athlete whose journey is shaped by rivalry, pride and personal stakes.

For Ram Charan, Peddi arrived after Game Changer, and the film carried major expectations because it marked his return to a rooted, large-scale commercial zone. The Hindi version’s early total is modest, but the coming weekend will decide whether it builds momentum beyond the Telugu audience base.
