Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, has achieved unprecedented success at the box office, surpassing the lifetime earnings of its predecessor within just two days. The film grossed over ₹400 crore globally in this two days, setting new records in Indian cinema.
On its opening day, Pushpa 2 earned ₹175 crore net in India and grossed ₹294 crore worldwide, marking the highest opening ever for an Indian film. The Hindi-dubbed version also set a record as the biggest Hindi opener to date.
The second day’s collections remained robust, with early estimates indicating an additional ₹80 crore net in India. This brings the film’s total domestic net collection to approximately ₹255 crore. Including overseas earnings, the global gross has exceeded ₹400 crore within two days.
Film has collected more than 59 crore net on day two after 72 crore on day one in Hindi. Film has 2- day total of 131 crore net. Film witnessed normal drop of 27% in Hindi as it was working day. But film witnessed alarming steep drop of 60% plus in south states.
In Telugu states, the movie is having a drop of over 60% as early estimates suggest 25-30 crores gross, followed by around 9 crores gross in Karnataka, and 8 crores gross in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
