Ram Charan’s Peddi has found some weekend support in Hindi, but the larger picture remains underwhelming. After 11 days in theatres, the film’s Hindi version has collected an estimated Rs. 15.61 crore nett at the Indian box office, and its current trend points to a lifetime finish near Rs. 19 crore. For a star vehicle mounted as a pan-India release, that would leave the film with a flop verdict in the Hindi market.
The numbers tell the story quickly. Peddi picked up Rs. 9.50 crore in its first weekend alone, which accounts for nearly 61 percent of its current total. That gave the film an initial base, but it also highlighted how much of the business came upfront rather than through sustained weekday momentum.
Second Weekend Hold Keeps Peddi Moving
The film did show some resilience after the usual post-weekend drop. Collections dipped on the first Monday, then steadied through the weekdays before Peddi registered a healthy jump again on its second weekend. The Hindi version collected Rs. 0.75 crore on second Saturday and Rs. 1.12 crore on Sunday, suggesting that family audiences are still contributing over weekends.
Even so, the film remains some distance away from the Rs. 20 crore mark. With Rs. 15.61 crore already collected, Peddi Hindi needs less than Rs. 4.5 crore to reach that milestone, but sustaining weekday footfalls while facing fresh theatrical competition will be the deciding factor.
Based on the present trend, the film is expected to add around Rs. 1.8 crore to Rs. 2 crore in its second week, followed by another Rs. 1.5 crore to Rs. 2 crore over the remainder of its run. That places its likely lifetime total in the Rs. 18.5 crore to Rs. 20 crore range, with approximately Rs. 19 crore emerging as the most probable finish.
