Ramayana Part One has entered theatres with a formidable pre-release cushion. The Ranbir Kapoor and Yash-led mythological spectacle has wrapped its worldwide advance bookings at Rs 143.5 crore gross, powered by a near-even split between India and overseas markets and placing it among the biggest pre-sales performers for a Hindi film.
India has contributed Rs 71 crore gross in advance sales, while international markets have brought in about Rs 72.5 crore. That balance gives the film a rare kind of launch profile, one that reflects strong domestic interest and equally impressive traction across key overseas circuits.
Final Advance Booking Numbers
The Hindi version has led the domestic charge with Rs 57.5 crore gross in presales, while the southern dubbed versions together have added Rs 13.5 crore. The Hindi opening day advance alone stands at about Rs 23.5 crore nett, a notable day one number for a film arriving in a pre-Diwali release window.
Abroad, the strongest response has come from the United States, where weekend presales have reached USD 4.4 million. The United Kingdom has added USD 700,000, Canada USD 750,000, Australia and New Zealand USD 650,000, while the Middle East and Rest of Europe have each brought in USD 425,000. Another USD 275,000 has come from the Rest of World markets, taking the overseas advance total to USD 7.625 million.

What The Advance Tells Us
The Rs 143.5 crore worldwide advance is significant not just for its size, but for its shape. The film has drawn heavily in Hindi circuits while also securing substantial dubbed business and a robust overseas start, a combination usually reserved for the biggest event releases. In a market where pre-sales often reveal how far a title has penetrated beyond core fan interest, Ramayana Part One appears to have opened as a full-scale theatrical event.
That makes its first few days especially important. With such a large advance base already locked in, the conversation now shifts from anticipation to conversion, and whether this exceptional booking total can translate into one of the standout starts in the current Hindi box office landscape.
